The total tenure of the lease is 36 months, which takes the rentals pay-out to over Rs 3.60 crore during the period. The luxury pad is likely to be occupied by a CXO of the company as the company’s corporate office is just a few meters away from this complex.

In September 2015, the drugmaker had bought 4.35 lakh sq ft office space at Godrej Properties’ commercial project Godrej BKC for about Rs 1,480 crore. The deal was also billed as India’s largest ever end-user office space transaction by value. Abbott had said the acquired office space would house more than 1,500 employees.
In 2016, the company had picked up an entire under-construction building with over 1.60 lakh sq ft built-up area in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb to set up an innovation and development centre.
Several prominent personalities from the corporate world, Bollywood and banking fraternity have already bought apartments in the same project built by developer Sunteck Realty.
Apart from Uday Kotak, other buyers are Gautam Adani, Vikram Pandit, Gunit Chaddha, Mihir Doshi and actress Sonam Kapoor. Actress Aishwarya Rai also bought an apartment in the neighbouring project Signia Isle developed by the same developer.
